BOYS BASKETBALL
Reality Sports will field a 7th grade boys basketball team in 2012-2013 with players from the Sumner/Bonney Lake area. Head Coach Damon DeLapp teaches the fundamentals of the game and what it means to "Compete Upside Down." Players learn the focus points of attitude, preparation in all aspects of the game, attitude, and what it looks like to bless teammates, opponents, and the officials.
The team practices twice each week and plays one game per week in a local select league.
GIRLS BASKETBALL
Three former female college players and high school coaches have decided to partner with Reality Sports as a way to expand their coaching and ministry to girls in the Puget Sound area.
HuskyBeaverDuck Camp (HBD Camp) was started in 1992 by Cari Harrison ("The Husky"), Chelle Miller ("The Beaver"), and MaryAnn O'dell ("The Duck") with the hopes of making a difference in the lives of young women in the Tacoma area.
Their focus has always been teaching the fundamentals of basketball and also incorporating the mental and spiritual aspects into the game. HBD Camp has provided opportunities for many young women to grow in their skills, confidence, friendships, and love for the game of basketball.
